“Naïve Art, My Kind of Art”

What is Naïve Art? Naïve art is a style of painting that is childlike simplicity, pure and colorful. Naïve painters are usually autodidact or have little training. I consider myself a Naïve artist too.

A French painter who initially made naïve art popular was Henri Rousseau. He lived between 1844-1910. Historically, there are also several Naïve art movements. One of them is a Creation Naïve painter, from Hlebine School Movement, near the Hungarian border, which started in 1930. Self- taught painters developed a unique and revolutionary Naïve art style painting. Ivan Generalic was the first master of the Hlebine School to develop a distintinctive personal style that was considered high value.

Naïve Art museums are located in Croatia, France, Ukraine and Massachusetts.

Naïve art is such an interesting form of art out there. I love it very much. Lastly, I’m glad that I can share my own Naïve art to the public.
